The Health Foundation is seeking experts who can advise, support and develop teams to build the knowledge and skills required for improving systems reliability and successful quality improvement. They expect the successful tender to be a consortium of providers with some areas of expertise to be supplied via sub contracts.
The successful supplier will:
- build teams’ skills and knowledge in systems theory and systems thinking, safety management, Lean, quality improvement and reliability science
- increase the likelihood of a successful outcome from teams’ improvement work
- ensure that at the end of the work, a well developed and tested approach is finalised and ready to spread across the NHS more widely.
Work will begin in January 2011 until June 2013.
The deadline for submitting a tender is noon on 27 October 2010.
