Dr John Carver, leading international author on board governance, published his case for a global theory of board governance earlier this year in the peer reviewed journal Corporate Governance: An International Review. Healthcare Governance review readers were, at the time, able to freely access the paper via the UK Policy Governance Association’s website. However, the journal’s publishers have now made Dr Carver’s paper freely available to all on their website (see below).
In his paper, he states that “…board governance
